The eighteen RAP-3 Graduates attended a graduate workshop from 3 – 6 November 2015 in collaboration with Nepal Engineering Association (NEA) and Nepal Engineering Council (NEC). The guest speakers in the workshop were Mr Kishor Kumar Jha, General Secretary of NEA and Mr Satya Narayan Shah, Chairman of NEC.
The workshop was targeted to help the graduates understand Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and how it fits into RAP’s Graduate programme. The workshop also gave a platform to the graduates to share their involvements and experiences to date with the help of PowerPoint presentations. The graduates also prepared their development objectives and learned how to record them and claim their achievement ratings.
At the end of the workshop, each graduate had an individual session with their respective supervisor to discuss in detail their plans for the next six months, their development objectives and how they plan to achieve them.
The graduates have now been assigned to a new posting in 12 districts and TMO, and will be stationed there for one year.
