Young Entrepreneurs from Dailekh awarded NPR 50,000 for their business idea

Three young entrepreneurs, members of the CONNECT Future Entrepreneurs' Club (FEC) in Dailekh, were among participants at the YUNUS Social Business Challenge 2018 and were awarded investment of NPR 50,000 for their business plan “Hariyo Paat Sabaiko Saath”.

In total ten teams pitched their business ideas at the final round of the YUNUS Social Business Challenge held in Kathmandu on 26th August 2018, including two teams of FEC members.

CONNECT celebrate International Youth Day

CONNECT opens second Future Entrepreneurs’ Club

In partnership with Narayan Campus, Dailekh CONNECT has established a Future Entrepreneurs’ Club (FEC).  The club, which aims to be a forum for peer to peer learning and mentoring and for students to hear success stories from the region and wider, is the second of its kind. The first CONNECT FEC was opened in partnership with the National Academy of Science and Technology, Dhangadhi earlier this year.

NAST to be home to CONNECT's first Future Entrepreneurs' Club

To promote youth entrepreneurship, CONNECT is partnering with colleges to establish satellite business incubation centres and Future Entrepreneurs’ Clubs (FECs).  The first FEC was established in partnership with the National Academy of Science and Technology (NAST), Dhangadhi this week.

The clubs will serve as forums for peer to peer learning, mentoring and for students to hear success stories from the region and wider.
